You will be responsible for the day-to-day set-up, programming, operator training, running and daily maintenance of the SMT (Surface Mount Technology) Cell within Ion Science Ltd.

The primary responsibility will be to ensure efficient and reliable operation of the SMT Process to ensure that the Production Program is achieved effectively.

This will require the correct loading of printed circuit boards (PCB’s) into the SMT machine, code checking for pick lists and appropriate programme selection, carryout visual & automatic optical inspection of finished boards, complete documentation to move through the production process or re-route for manual re-working where needed. You will also be the primary machine minder and carryout trouble shooting and maintenance where necessary to keep production levels on track.
