{"id":247191,"date":"2018-12-04T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2018-12-04T00:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ionscience.com\/news\/in-devon\/"},"modified":"2018-12-04T00:00:00","modified_gmt":"2018-12-04T00:00:00","slug":"in-devon","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ionscience.com\/in\/news\/in-devon\/","title":{"rendered":"ION Science Ltd company Christmas weekend away in Devon"},"content":{"rendered":"<h3><strong>ION Science Ltd enjoyed their annual company Christmas weekend away in Devon this year.<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>We had a busy itinerary to ensure that we made the most of the rural countryside.<\/p>\n<p>On arriving at the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cranberries-devon.co.uk\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><i>Cranberries Hideaway<\/i><\/a>, set in over 100 acres of private countryside on the Devon \/ Dorset border on Hills Farm, we all enjoyed a Pirate theme dinner.<\/p>\n<h3>Walking in Devon<\/h3>\n<p>The first day\u00a0consisted of a 7 mile &#8211; 4 \u00bd hour coastal walk, through the Axmouth to Lyme Regis Undercliffs National Nature Reserve, the highlights of the Jurassic Coast. The landscape is a unique, wild area of landslides, tumbled coastline and\u00a0luxuriant\u00a0vegetation. That evening after our long walk, we enjoyed a well-deserved meal at the Old Inn.<\/p>\n<p>The final full day consisted of outdoor activities from 09:15 \u2013 16:30, everyone took part in Clay pigeon shooting, Axe throwing, Archery and Blind driving.
