Features

The SF6 LaserCheck P3:FH is unlike conventional absorption spectroscopy, the advanced principle of photoacoustic gas detection makes it possible to determine, and compensate for, a beginning contamination of the internal measuring chamber. This ability accounts for its excellent long-term stability of measurement. Ideal for laboratory settings containing fume hoods, this product can be found in university chemical labs as well as industrial labs. The SF6 LaserCheck P3:FH traces SF6 gas contained in the fume hood with world-leading ppb sensitivity and data logging according to ASHRAE 110-2016/DIN EN 14175.

Composed of a base unit, comprising the measuring cell, laser, vacuum pump, and a controller. A WIN PC (Win 7.8.20) running a customer control software serves as the man-machine interface. The software controls the measuring process, visualizes its results, and processes user inputs such as parameter settings while storing resulting data for evaluation.

The product contains one SF6 LaserCheck P3:FH system with operating and evaluation software, one internal vacuum pump, and one control computer.

Delivery time may take 3 to 4 weeks once ordered. The warranty for this system expires after 12 months from purchase.

 

ANSI/ASHRAE Standard 110-2016

The ANSI/ASHRAE Standard 110-2016 specifies a quantitative and qualitative test method for evaluating fume containment of laboratory fume hoods. Applying to conventional, bypass, auxiliary air, and variable-air-volume fume hoods, it is primarily intended for laboratory and factory testing by may be used as an aid in evaluating installed performance as well.
