Stronger than ever, the Tiger XT range of handheld VOC gas detectors is ready to take on the harshest of environments. The XT range withstands the most challenging, dirty, high-humidity surroundings, securing uptime and boosting productivity thanks to its patented Fence Electrode sensor technology. The Tiger XT model comes with a maximum detection limit of 20,000 ppm – the widest on the market, Tiger XT Select (XTS) is designed for the specific detection of benzene, and the Tiger XTL is the low cost, entry-level instrument with single datalog functionality.
ROBUST
The exterior is designed with an advanced semi-conductive thermoplastic elastomer outer moulding, making it intrinsically safe. The LCD display is also press fitted and then over-moulded with TPE, to reduce the chance of damage.​​
PRECISION
The internal Tiger PC software enables users to configure the XT instrument to their precise needs while also setting calibration and bump test reminders.​ Incorporating a push-to-release button for the rechargeable battery, the tiger XT range allows for a rapid, easy and secure connection. The charger cradle can typically charge the li-ion battery in 8 hours and can be mounted to the wall.
PROTECTION
Integrating the latest in photoionisation detection (PID) sensor technology, the XT range enables a T90 response time of less than two seconds, putting it among the fastest and most accurate on the market. It can detect gases at levels as low as 0.001 parts per million (ppm), and can detect up to 20,000 ppm, giving it the broadest measurement range of any VOC detector on the global market today.
ALARMS
Equipped with a fully configureable system which allows the user to adjust the low and high alarm levels. The integrated alarm system will vibrate, flash amber and alarm (up to 95 decibels) once the lower alarm limit has been exceeded. The instrument will then flash red once the higher alarm limit has been exceeded, warning the user that high levels of harmful VOCs are present.
