Falco TAC Diffused
Fixed Gas Detector
The Falco TAC diffused is a fixed gas detector that eliminates false readings found with other competing fixed gas detectors and continuously detects Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) in hazardous areas. The Falco TAC diffused, fixed gas detector is ideal for detecting VOCs in areas such as refineries and petrol chemical facilities.
Fixed Gas Detector Features
Falco TAC diffused, fixed gas detector has an externally located Intrinsically Safe sensor for quick and easy servicing without the need for a hot work permit. Dual certification allows your fixed gas detectors to be serviced and calibrated in a hazardous environment without having to remove power!
The standard Falco, both Pumped and Diffused models are supplied with a 10.6 eV lamp allowing the fixed instrument to detect a wide range of VOC gases. The fixed gas detector has 4 detection ranges available, these ranges include 0 – 10 ppm, 0 – 50 ppm, 0 – 1000 ppm and 0 – 3000 ppm.
The Falco TAC, both Pumped TAC and Diffused TAC models utilise a 10.0 eV lamp to detect Total Aromatic Compounds (TACs) which help focus on benzene. The Falco TAC is available with a detection range of 0 – 50 ppm.

What our customers say
View Case StudyView All Case StudiesView All Testimonials”“In Italy, a new legislation with specific odour limit thresholds has also been recently introduced making it ever more important for companies that have treatment in their processes to monitor and improve the treatment efficiency of their systems in line with regulatory requirements.
Roberto PiscontiTechnologia and Ambiente
ION Science and its products are well known across our business so we were confident in the Falco’s ability to reliably and accurately measure VOCs in both inlet and outlet gas streams.”
